Nuxified.org is an alternative outlet for users and fans of Free Open Source Software (FOSS). It was started in 2005 as an alternative to popular and usually bloated Linux help forums and later expanded to welcome discussions of all FOSS, not just Linux. If you use one of the lesser popular FOSS operating systems such as BSD and OpenSolaris you're welcome. If you use FOSS applications on Windows and Mac and wish to discuss or get help with those, you're just as welcome.
It's simply about Free and Open Source Software, whatever it is, wherever you may run it and whatever your opinions about it may be. Most content is about Linux, but that's simply a reflection of its popularity and status as a FOSS icon, not a matter of site policy.
As such Nuxified.org might be a perfect sweet spot for anyone looking for a new cozy place to discuss or express FOSS interests.
To start with there's already a pretty extensive library of content, from opinion articles, tutorials, reviews, tips and screenshots to problem solving forum topics and interesting debates. Now you can also submit videos and podcasts, chat live with other people knowledgeable and interested in FOSS and guest blog on this site for a link back to yours.
At all times you also have FOSS Live updates in the sidebar from twitter and identi.ca so you're always up to date with the latest buzz. Just click a tweet and you'll be able to respond or retweet it.
I encourage you to browse and see if you can find something interesting. If you have a question, need help or wish to discuss a particular topic I invite you to post about it in our forum or blog about it. What do you have to lose?
Welcome to the FOSS Clique!
