Before I could already save around 100MB by removing the kernel-sources from the Live-system. Now I have decided to remove GCC 3.4 and 4.0, and could save another 50 to 60MB.

Recently I have read about a nice little tool brought to us by Intel. It is called PowerTop, and, as the name suggests, looks a bit like top.

Well, actually not everywhere, but just a bit down the hallway.

Sometimes I like to google for my name to see how much trace I have already left on the net.
