Well that is good news. It is always good news to see another program freed, even if it is something for which there already are quite a few choices. We have evolution, thunderbird, sylpheed etc. etc.
If the "unique feature set" is truly unique than that's great.

I think by now most of the
I think by now most of the Eudora users are people who got used to it and don't want to use anything else. A free Eudora will make the switch to a completely free system easier for them. And of course it might even mean some extra users of this program. There probably will be a linux version (it's gecko based after all), and I certainly would like to try it.
