Good, light laptop?

Anyone have recommendations for a good, light (weight wise) laptop? I've looked around, seen some ok stuff, just not sure of any solid laptops, that don't weight much...thinking about a thinkpad, but not sure. I'm willing to spend about $1500 or so.
