Merging some forums?

I thought it might be a good idea to merge the forums that don not have that much input, solaris, other free os's and bsd maybe?
Thought it would make us look like we have more posts.

That's why I was and still am rather hesitant at adding new forums, because we already have quite some of them and they're still not filled up enough and therefore make forums appear rather empty, even though they're really not.
However, some of these forums were requested so I eventually added them. That said, now that we have them, I'm not sure if it would be too beneficial to merge them in.
The benefit of doing that is getting one forum that seems bigger and more active, but the con of that is it probably wouldn't be so clear anymore that we support BSD and OpenSolaris too, though I wonder if that really matters that much at this point.
So.. what do others think? Should we merge forums for other OS's into one?
Thanks for the suggestion onlinebacon!
It will be a pain to unmerge them when BSD or Solaris support gets popular. However the "*BSD" and "Alternative Free Operating Systems (solaris and other)" groups (blocks, whatever you call them) can be merged into one. As long as posts about different topics don't get mixed up there's no problem.
So two blocks become one, but three forums continue to be three forums.
Good idea Taco. That makes sense.
Yeah, so what are we going to do now then?
Yeah, so what are we going to do now then?
Well I already merged the "BSD" and "Alternative Free Operating Systems" categories into one category for other Free OS's. That just made sense while not having any consequences in any way. It even looks better I'd say.
As for merging actual forums, I'm not sure.. I think Taco may have a point. These forums should end up separate anyway, so to merge it now and then again unmerge it in the future, not sure if that's really necessary.
