New portal blocks!
We have some new possibly useful blocks on the portal homepage:
The "Nuxified Tips" block displays latest additions to the tips thread. When you add new tips to it please enter the title of your post so that it can displays a meaningful title in this block on the homepage. Also, don't chatter in that thread; it is for tips strictly. All posts are fed to the block so all chatter would be too. Keep it useful. 
Those are pretty much all requirements for that thread.
Another block is the "GNU News" as I currently called it. At the moment it displays latest news from LXer.com, but I may add some more news sites to aggregate there from for a greater variety.
I just have to style those blocks a bit better. I think the text should be smaller and we might add some other touches.
Feel free to suggest other blocks you'd like to see!

There's some useful info there. I might use some of the tips to make improvements here too.
Some of the other add ons I'm thinking of are quick reply box and code highlighting (for use with code tags).
I just have to keep track of the mods added due to the upgrades process.
