On Nuxified.org we provide resources on key open source technologies in belief that open source plays a crucial part in empowering individuals, improving society, and creating a better future.

I am pleased to announce a brand new, redesigned, reloaded Nuxified.org. It in fact is the third version so the "reloaded" title from the Matrix trilogy is quite fitting. ;)

While the old look may have been decent, it featured the old three column layout spread out over the 100% of site's width with elements being in blocks. This was quite traditional, but not anymore as popular and liked in this "Web 2.0" era, and rightly so. The new design isn't blocky, leaves some breeding space on the sides, has larger fonts, is more colorful, less bloated and was designed to provide greater convenience to both new and existing visitors and users.

Partitions, in the way they are commonly used, are not flexible. The solution is called Logical Volumes, managed with LVM, the Logical Volume Manager, and used with the Device-Mapper.

For quite some time creating proper video-tutorials with Linux wasn't very comfortable.
I tried it with Cinelerra before, but since it's a fully featured video-editor it's too blown up for this simple task. Other solutions, like for example VNC2SWF only record video, but no sound.
