3rings introduction

Hello everyone!
I got into Nuxified through Digg.com.
I followed the link to supermike's article-- Brief Introduction to Firewalls. :-)
Well I'm not a programmer but just someone who's interested in reading tech news, computers, etc. I'm a design architect/interior designer and I normally use autocad for my drawings.
Anyway, I like reading & learning stuffs about webdesigns, php, programming tips, css, and Gentoo news. I've been a Linux user for just a year now when I installed Gentoo in my laptop, and I enjoyed it ever since.
I live in Belgium.

Welcome!
Hello 3rings! Welcome to Nuxified.org forums! I hope you have a fun and enlightening journey with this community.

That's cool. This site is not just for programmers, but computer users who use (or are interested to use) Free Software such as GNU/Linux.

Maybe we can help you find a non-proprietary alternative to audocad.
Thanks for joining!

Thank you guys for welcoming me! :-)
Yes it's a funny avatar I got from a friend more than two years ago. :-)
Libervisco, that would be nice if I can find another software that I can use other than autocad.
Have a nice day everyone!
Yeah, bout that autocad thing. I looked on freshmeat.net and only found one written in Java, which I imagine would be like click, wait, click, wait. Java sux. Anyway, I'll keep looking, though.
3rings, I use CAD quite a lot for me school work, and it has been the one bane when trying to move soley to GNU/Linux, you may want to look into something like QCAD, though you may want to check out thispage.
dylunio
Well, for CAD there is:
