Sorry to keep asking questions... Another headache
I'm downloading iso-s and it stops downloading after being 99% down !@#$%^.
Instead, a 3"x1.5" window pops up saying "426 Failure writing network stream".
What does this error means? And what are ways to work around this?
Thank in advance for any tip.

Is there enough space left on whatever you're saving it to?
If there is, try using a different download manager.

Thank for replying.
It's
- ftp via firefox
- Mandriva 2006
- standard security (as defined by Mandriva)
Another forum says it might be the firewall.
I'll try again w/o firewall - I don't think
I have any, but I'll need to check.

I downloading SimplyMepis 65. which fits on a CD - not large.
But don't worry about my question anymore. I'm going to
install pclinuxos tr4 (totally erasing the "426" problem)
and see what happens.
