Adding GLM blogs to planet.libervis.net
Sat, 2007-07-14 19:03
There is a planet.libervis.net where we feed all significant libervis related blogs (which includes anyone who is an active member of any of libervis sites). I check the planet regularly and so do many of us which means that being included there is a good way for libervis community to notice what you are blogging about at any point in time.
So my suggestion would be to add GNU/Linux Matters Blog and also personal blogs of Olivier and Gustavo to planet.libervis.net.
What do you think?

Hey, thank you very much! That would be great!
It's funny you should mention that, because I recently created a personal blog: http://blog.gustavonarea.net/en/
Cheers!
Cool.
AndrewB is officially the maintainer of the planet, but I have access and I doubt he'd mind adding you.
Also, if you've got any hackergotchi's (small face avatars for blog planets) feel free to send it in to "libervis [at] libervis.com" so it can be included on the planet.
Thanks
Thanks!
I don't have a hackergotchi yet, but I'll create one when I have some spare time.
Cheers!
No problem.

Well thanks very much for the invitation Danijel. I'm glad to see that the GLM blog is in there already.
The truth is that I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it for me to create a blog of my own (writing in a blog is time-consuming and not always rewarding) or not. The option I will probably go for is make the GLM blog a little more personal and use it as a mix of both.
I'll try to make a Hackergotchi (new word!) to put there ;-)
No problem.
Having a personal blog can be a good outlet for interests other than those related to your main projects. This is how I use my personal blog. It's my little space where I can just rant out about literally anything that's on my mind without worrying whether it'll fit or not. And someone might just find some of those rants interesting.
But, of course, not everyone's the same.
Btw, hackergotchi was a new word for me too recently. Sounds kind of funny.
Cheers
