Offlinethe problem is that when i finish dist-upgrade from stable to testing. it halt my computer beacause i notice that the mouse or keyboard or the computer light is not flashing. i have look into the ps, top and the lpci command, which i found nothing or may be i have looked into the wrong place
my system is amd 64 3200 2.6 gb ram 80 gb hard disk. if dont know whether it is enough or not please advice thanks in advance
ps i have search in google and which i have found nothing as well.
Does this happen right away or after you try to run some program other than apt-get?

Could it possibly be that you are trying to run a 32bit version of the system on 64bit? I gotta ask as it might, I think, be possible that this could be causing a problem.

all x86_64 processors are 100% x86-compatible, just like you can still run 16-bit DOS apps on a 32-bit FreeDOS or MS Windows.
