At libervis.com, there are threads for people going to FOSDEM (february, Belgium) and iCommons (june, Croatia).
If you're considering going there, please tell us!
it's highly unlikely that I'll go to either of those events, though I'd love to go to a FOSDEM at some point. I will however probably attend the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage on the 3rd and 4th of march.
FOSDEM might be an option maybe next year. I'm going to iCommons this year. At least that's the firm plan.
Hmm events this year..
It is to be held in a local University in Glasgow. I have said I will help out, not doing anything like a presentation, just physically giving a hand. If I do not. I will go along cause I am interested in KDE4.
This is held in Edinburgh. I plan to go along to the first weekend of DebConf. The Saturday is for users and people interested in Debian. The rest is mainly for developers, so I will go on Sunday to see what it is like, also to hear the main presentation.
I am also looking into Chemnitzer Linux Tag though this is unlikely, I will ask my boss for the time off this weekend.
I just discovered FrOSCon in the German Rhineland area. link
Judging by location and size (both time- and price-wise) this looks like something I could attend, though I can't know whether it'll be worth it just yet.
I'd love to go to DebConf, but it absolutely clashes with school. Oh well, maybe some other time.
