Ever since it started, GetGNULinux.org is periodically added on the Wikipedia "Linux" article's external links, only to be removed within a few hours.

This happened again today, and seeing that the dreaded Linux.org is ever-present, I opened a thread in the article's discussion.

I really don't want to open a flame/edit war, but simply thought that if there are some wikipedians amongst you, you might be interested and perhaps able to add a few cent's worth of opinions.
Honestly I don't believe we are going to be mentioned there anytime soon, but at least I'd be happy if someone doesn't sit there forever just because they call themselves "the linux homepage".

Cheers,

Olivier

I'm not really involved in

I'm not really involved in Wikipedia, but I tried to improve the quality a bit ;-) (GetGNULinux.org doesn't stand a chance to get included, but never having heard of either LInfo or CLTB, I think removing them is reasonable...)
