configure keyboard shortcuts in beryl

How do I configure keyboard shortcuts in beryl? I know they're in
settings manager - general - shortcuts,
but how do I change them? Simply double-clicking the item and then hitting the wanted shortcut doesn't do anything...
Never mind, I figured it out: <Control> and such have to be typed as if they are words...
You are actually using 3D desktop or is it possible to use beryl WM without 3D?
what do you mean by "without 3D" ? Without the cube effects is possible, without OpenGL not ;-)
