Funny names and their riddles
This whole renaming spree around Mozilla software can actually be fun. I was just installing mozilla-dev package from sid (cause it's needed to compile latest kazehakase for review) and I noticed among the packages one called iceape-browser. It felt funny because in the context of all this renaming this is at least a third name I'm hearing being added to the same family of brosers.
IceApe actually refers to SeaMonkey, which was once Mozilla.
Guys in the gNewSense project seem to call their version of Firefox, a "BurningDog".
So I got the idea, which could either be stupid or funny, to try do some riddles that apply to funny names of Free Software, especially software which has more than one name, each for a specific fork or repackaging.
Here are the two I thought up so far:
"What was rhyming with godzilla, is ape and masters the frozen water?"
"What is not a fox, yet played with fire in its past life?"
Well they probably aren't much good, so it'll be easy to guess what they're refering to.
Anyway, feel free to have try if you wish.

This might be more difficult:
A part of an antelope which hides in gardens.
It's legs?
edit* Because the rest of it's body can be seen above the grass. :-|
this is WAY deeper ;-)
you'd do best to try to figure it out bit by bit.
Its hooves?
It's errr............the smelly part under it's tail? :-|
This is a free software-related name riddle...
the formulation may have been sub-optimal... this is a specific antelope.
Is it Ant?
Is it Ant?
I am not aware of an antelope part of which is ant. Ants and antelopes can of course cooperate ;-)
There are two reasons for my guess:
And of course ants hide in gardens, forests, shoes and more...
interesting. This specific antelope is of a special type, and rarely associated with the work "antelope", especially not in-context.
Is it GNOME?
Reasoning: A wildebeest is a species of antelope, it is also known as a Gnu. GNU is GNU's Not Unix, which is a Free Software clone(?) of the Unix OS. As a part of the GNU project there are many smaller projects and programs. One of these is the GNOME desktop environment. Gnomes are small mythological creatures which live in gardens.
dylunio
aye, it's gnome.
