Gentoo and Cups+X

Gentoo and Cups+X

Does anyone here know why when you install cups 1.1.23 os gentoo, it'll want to install X as well.

Also do you know how to get it not to do this, I have already -X -X11 -x11 -xorg in my make conf, any other ideas?

Well I've found that xpdf is now a dependancy in the cups ebuild, and xpdf needs all the X stuff, so i'm currently trying to remove xpdf from the list of dependancies to see if it'll install without X.

I've sotred it out by adding -motif to my use flags, since cups needed xpdf, and with the +motif flag on xpdf all the X stuff installed, so by using -motif it seems to be working without installing X.
