Aren't we rushing a bit?
The official release will be in a few hours, although, as far as I have read, you can already have Fedora 8 by downloading Fedora 8 Test 3 and then running updates. It'll make it the final release already.
But I actually will wait for the official images to be released, and then download the X86- and X86_64-DVDs.
I knew from my friends that the Fedora 8 is very good and effective, and i already had it before official release by downloading fedora 8 test 2 and running updates.........
Ignoring that this post was just signature spam, this is a bad idea. Fedora releases it when they do because that is when it is final and completely ready. Also, then you have to get rid of the rawhide yum repository and there is the possibility of unstable packages being left over.
