How many OS's are you booting?

I dual boot on two of my computers, on my main desktop I have, SuSE 9.1 personnal (I installed it so that I could get the nice GrUB bootsplash), Slackware 10.0, Gentoo (main distro), and Jedilinux 0.2 (used for fun/testing).
On my other desktop I have Ubuntu 5.10, a highly damaged install of SuSE 9.1, and Windows XP (used for that one pogram that Linux has sadly no equivelent of).

Desktop currently dual booting, an FC minimal and Suse 10 which is near broke, but it was only temp
Gonna put something else on instead of Suse

Was thinking of maybe slackware

Laptop i have tripple booted, suse 10, mac os X, and gentoo

I have archlinux, QNX and windows XP. I also had ubuntu next to those, but I used the space for something else, and now that partition is empty. Only archlinux is really used.

That's a quadriple-boot actually as you're booting four distros on one computer.

Use the BSOD screensaver then.

Solaris 10 on my sparc. Dual booting it with Gentoo that I am gonna put on it today maybe, depends how i like solaris 10

Right now it's Ubuntu and Arch for me. Maybe I'll have only one OS when I really get tired of trying new ones out and find the one that's absolutely perfect for me, but hey I just got broadband. I am just beginning to really try this stuff out so I doubt I'll be mono-booting any time soon.

Two for me, OpenBSD (which I may use as my main soon) and Solaris, too bad I cant actually use my computer till the end of the week though

Most of the time I boot Linux, but in case I want to play a little I still have Windows 2000 installed.

I have four items in lilo which appear on my boot screen:

Slackware - My 2.4.* Kernel
Linux - My non-working 2.6.* Kernel (Slackware Also)
WRecovery - My windows recovery O_o (going to be removing this by making a recovery DVD)
Windows - My Windows XP boot

I have to take out Linux, WRecovery sometime.. and later on Windows. I don't think I'll need windows anymore since WINE works with Adobe and Flash MX!

While we're at it, I currently have three GNU/Linux distros on my HD; Arch, Ubuntu and Zenwalk (which I was trying out). I'm still using Arch primarily though. Zenwalk will probably soon be replaced with something else (possible Frugalware) again for a tryout.

update on mine :

debian sid amd64 - fallen into disuse, it is the oldest install on the box
debian etch i386 - was my main system until yesterday. what happens now remains to be seen.
gentoo amd64 - currently on this and plan to stay
frugalware-current x86-64 - shadow of a brief phase. youngest system

the last three systems were all set up in August. the sid dates back to March or sometime in spring... The machine was built in January, but that's off topic.
all these systems have their / partition where a Windows install previously was. They share a /home partition.

libervisco, it might be a good idea to try something like Trustix, nice and secure, has it's own package management system that allows you to be able to install secure packages, seems pretty cool to me

Is Trustix a special purpose distribution? I usually only use general purpose ones because that's what I use my computer for, all kinds of purposes.

But I could try it if it could be something to use as general purpose...

I seem to be moving towards BLAG from Gentoo for my day-to-day stuff, I hardly use any of the other installed distros.

I actually single boot into Ubuntu 6.06 on my laptop and my wife single boots on her desktop (Kubuntu 6.06 on amd64) which is also a server with svn, apache and some other things running silently in the background.

On my laptop I also have a legal Windows 2003 Standard Server instance which I use when I need to work on my laptop (i.e. during my trips to Dusseldorf, Germany where my current company's headquaters are located). We're trying to convert the management to switch to GNU/Linux on development workstations but no success so far

I have two systems running on my box:
LFS
Windows 2000
Usually I run my LFS, since that's what I use to do everything except for gaming.
Windows only is still there for gaming, there's also things like OpenOffice and some common tools installed, in case I need them and don't want to reboot to Linux for that, but mostly I just use it as a gaming-system.

It is indeed libervisco, but a very good special purpose distro

I use FC5 & PARDUS 2007 beta.

I have decided never to use windows at home. Don't have an alternative at office.

How good is Free BSD or the other BSD variants?
I haven't tried one?

I have 3 machines, basically:
1: OS X
2: Archlinux
3: WinXP

I used to dual boot, but I really hated it. I always had to kill my workflow to use a different OS!

Could always make a shared home dir.

Between WinXP and Arch? I think it'd have to be fat32, which is a horrid FS.
