What is that orange VGA-like connector on my sound card?

That should be a MIDI-port.

That should be a MIDI-port. Years ago, before USB, that usually also doubled as game-port, where you connected your joystick, but I guess nowadays it's just plain MIDI.

In case you don't know MIDI, it's used to connect music-production-devices, like synthesizers, to your computer and use the computer as a sequencer for the device(s).
