Midnight Commander

Hi
I'm very newbe in this subject (linux). I just started to read about Linux because I'm sick and tired of Microsoft windows bullshit.

Now I really need help with something else. I know that is Midnight Commander for Linux but I still working with windows and I need Midnight Commander for windows. can someone help me to find this application. I'll appreciate it very much some help or even advices.

Isn't Midnight Commander same for Windows and Linux. Judging from this wikipedia entry, MC actually seems to have originated from the unix world...

If it's installed in your distro, the command should be "mc".

he's looking for midnight commander for windows.

afaik, midnight commander was programmed around the basis of norton commander, or maybe the other way around.

norton commander is your best bet.

There actually is a Windows-version of Midnight Commander.
In the other thread I posted a link, but seems that one got disposed as the opener double-posted his problem.

Thanks. Was too lazy to look up the link again, as it actually was quite easily found by googling for "Midnight Commander Windows". ;-)
