In a sense, my transition to Linux is complete. I have very simple requirements as a Novice ( notice the capital letter, I am very proud of the fact ). Most of my time has been spent with hardware, installations and FFF. Also, traversing the monumental paranoia of having my first Internet connection: Oooooo eerrr! :-o

they're not used. Some acronym have somehow gained wide understanding and are largely documented by tool tips on nuxified.org for people not knowing them in the first place.

Also, TMTR sounds bloody rude and can be expressed nicely in a few words.

Nuxified has quite a few guys who know their stuff and not so much Novice users to challenge them. What this means is that whatever question you may have it is very likely someone here will know how to help. Or in other words, we have vacancies for Novice users.

What's that in your avatar?

At first I thought it might be a ferret, but now I think it's something else.
Problem is that I only know the german word for it, but if I name it maybe FreeZombie or Luzi know the english word. The german word is Erdmaennchen, though I'm not 100% sure if this is one.
Thanks to Wikipedia I found it, the english word is Meerkat.

At first I thought you meant "Erdemenchen" (Earth people) then I thought maybe "Erdekannenchen" ( Earth rabbit ) but I suppose you must mean "MehrKatzen" (more cats) or then perhaps "MeresKatzen" (sea cats) or MeerKats (lake cats).
