OpenMoko is getting somewhere

From what I am hearing from my friend Kevin Dean lately, OpenMoko is really going places. They have a new stack, a new direction and a new phone, Freerunner is already in mass production. Kevin has done a review here and it really looks exciting.

It might not be an iPhone, but in some sense that's almost a compliment. It is open, hackable, yet it is apparently working better and better out of the box as well. Worth a check out, perhaps even worth a buy. Smiling
