Scheduling Tremulous matches (team pairs post availability)

Well, once again, I'm available on weekends, and now some nights.
Probably from 5:30-9 CST for the nights.

Sunday to Thursday I'm aviable from around 9pm to 11pm (sometimes midnight) HKT (GMT+8)
Friday and Saturday I might be available longer, and I am available earlier.

Alright, I'm looking to do at least one match tonight for Tremulous. One proposal is to go with Team 1 vs. CY, but any other pairing that is available should be great. The pairs are here.

Anyone up for tonight?

If the match would start within the next 15 minutes I could join, but I don't think that is going to happen.
Anyway, I'll come over to the IRC, after I did something against my health...

We available on all days in week, now in Friday,and from next week (10.12+).
We are always on #tremulous.cz, irc.upc.cz server (I, or Eggman). So im often on channel #trem-clans on Freenode

tHc are (maybe) available from 7pm to 11pm (Greenwich + 1hour) every day.
From 2pm to 6pm during weekends.

Feel free to make suggestions or critiques regarding the way information is presented. Least we can do is improve for the 2008 fest.

The Challenge Everything Clan is available on weekends and fridays only (unless in holidays). Our time is gmt+ 11:00

it is really hard for team 1, because most of us are in the united states, while every other team in our group is in america... this creates a problem for me as i can't access trem in the mornings.

and clan psy are the american teams in this tournement, why did you group each team with a bunch of clans in europe instead of grouping them together???

Well, I don't know about you, Dracone and thirdstreettito, but I think that Jose sits somewhere in America.
But Amanieu sits in Beijing, China and I sit in Hong Kong, so we're not an all US-team.

Well.. then there should be no problem. US is in Americas.

Anyway IIRC not all of the formed teams are completely from US and it would be hard to group everyone per continent anyway. We have rules in place for ping difference issues. As for timing, we can find a good compromise.

If it really doesn't work and others too demand this then we can change groupings. But that's the thing.. feedback is key people, and not when it's already too late!

Well {S}Pikers will be able to play any time in the evening GMT +1.

But the problem is i don't know psy or any teams in our group and havnt come into contact with them before so will be hard organizing a match.

Well, i'm sorry but due to some problems =V=s are available for matches only from the next weekend.
After the 14th we are available more-or-less every day, we just need to plan the games at least one day before they have to be played

@Dhruv, as long as both {S}pikers and the opposing team are available at the same time it shouldn't be a problem.

@Kappolo, well you don't seem to be the only one that's available only next weekend.. Well I suppose we'll line up a lot of matches at that time.

There is no need to schedule matches around my availability. Just tell me when and where and I'll do my best to show up.

Btw, one friendly tip: practice a lot if you can before matches. There are some tough opponents here. I've just seen CY totally crush two of the already established clans in all four rounds both matches. But.. don't lose hope. You can still get qualified! There are varying teams around and surprises are bound to happen!

Well every match should eventually be listed there as scheduled, yes, but you still all participate in scheduling (need to confirm the time etc.).

So where is Krieg? Don't let this match go down!

If Kriegscott doesn't show up tonight I'm considering his disqualification and replacement with someone else! Sorry, but all that could be done to get him onboard was done. An email was sent a good deal of time before the planned match. Everyone is showing up except him.

Why?

Because you didn't play the last two rounds? Did you even get my email? We were actually waiting. You just assumed that we moved on without you and left. Did you know that just probably less than a minute after you left the channel Bunny came and said the slot is free for you to join?

If that's the reason for you leaving than there's simply nothing to it man. Please don't withdraw. You're the main player and bunny and k-otic were just backups. You're needed.

Just wanted to state that Dracone isn't really playing as of now due to it being the end of the first semester and finals are coming up, he should be back when winter break kicks in though

Isn't that in basically few days? I mean christmas and all?

There may be a number of other people not available until later next week.

I have two matches scheduled for this week in other tournaments, but aside from that I may not be up for much other participation. An attempt to set up a practice match with me would have the best chance of success through direct private (nuxified) messages and not forums.. at least until next week.

EDIT:
As stated in the emails sent out earlier, I would like to practice and may be available for those times. The impression I get though is that nothing is going to happen until next week. I'll take the opportunity then to get other work done this week.

Has Team 1 done any practise?

I'm hoping you guys, that being Dracone, Genie, thirdstreettito, Jose, Amanieu and reptiler could do some among yourself so you can get ready for CY.

Also, let's keep Team 2 and Team 3 in mind as well:

Team 2: Exclamation, 3of12, Kriegsgott, Phenax, zmef420, K-otic
Team 3: Thunder_PT, filipecerk, xdrt, 2xtreme, HellGuardian

Though something tells me Team 3 will end up being disqualified. More than half of its members are general no shows in this fest!
