We have to have a reliable way of determining who is going to be participating in the upcoming gaming tournament. We have had various people express interest in various threads on the web, but we should have them all in one place.
While we don't have an official game list yet because it partly depends on the player interest and partly on the results of this poll which I'm not closing just yet (we need to get the word out to some more people including windows users first), I think this thread will be useful for shaping the tournament as it will be.
So, I invite everyone who is interested in playing, and doesn't plan on letting us down on that to sign up in this thread. Please sign up only if you are [b]serious[/b] about participating. If you are not then provide at least one person who may play if you decide to drop out. Just provide the following information:
- Your nicknames (names by which we will recognize you both here and in-game)
- Which game would you like to play?
- When do you have the most free time? (e.g. weekends)
- Confirm that you voted on this poll.
Of course, to sign up for this thread you also have to have a Nuxified.org account, but the account is very very easy and quick to get. Try it. ;)

- Nexuiz, OpenArena, BZFlag, Battle For Wesnoth or Tremulous maybe.
- Weekends mostly, but whenever. I run this thing so.. I'm available when is needed.

* I'll most likely be spyro_boy, or spyroboy, but if I want to be funky, I may join as spiral.
* I'll play any game that can be acquired by apt, or any game that has a decent installer, that is, if it's not already installed. If it's already installed. I'm in. These include, warsow, bzflag, W:ET, TC:E, DOOM[1,2] for Odamex or Chocolate-Doom, Quake4, Doom3, Nexuiz.. what else? Tremulous is also installed. I do have Quake2 legitimately, and Quake1 with many shareware files.
* Most likely Friday nights around 6-7 GMT-5, or Saturday nights in the same timezone, that is, eastern timezone.
* I voted for free engine + freely redistributable non-commercial data. (Second option)
im in for OA. i used to play a couple of the others but they bore me now cuz i could never find people to play with. so just give me a date time and server and ill come and get owned. btw the battle for wesnoth looks kinda cool.

If we'd play them, what I don't expect since they're not free, I'd also be in for Enemy Territory, Doom 1/2/3 (which I all paid for) and UT2K4. But anyway, since these are non-free (though on Doom 1/2 it just fails on data, since we could use the free PrBoom-engine) I don't think we'll use them.

I'll have to test UFO:AI again to see if it works better now since I solved my overheating problem.
I don't know exactly where I'll be after September and if I'll have DSL at "home", so eventually I might be unable to participate, but the probability of it isn't very high.
edit: Oh and timezone: GMT+1, altough I have no problems with playing at night. ^^
