Special additions to GGL, PLO and MLC forums

Maybe you have noticed that, besides adding a new mobile support forum I have also added logos to forums of our friends from GetGNULinux.org and PolishLinux.org. It's just a small mark signifying that these forums are dedicated to these projects.

The GNU/Linux mobile forum has the same thing and in fact plays a similar role, except that MobiLiberty.com (MLC) is part of Libervis Network.

Anyway, I was thinking of adding special blocks to these forums only to make them even more useful. For example, the GGL forum could have a block below the topic index showing latest posts to the GGL planet and the PolishLinux.org latest overall content on its site (although it also already displays on the Nuxified homepage).

GNU/Linux mobile forum may also contain a block with latest items from MobiLiberty.com.

What do you think? If you've got any further ideas feel free to say.

With MLC, GGL and PLO forums in addition to all the standard help forums all converging on Nuxified.org, the site is something of a technical support and discussions nexus of the community around Libervis Network (and further). And Libervis.com is a second nexus for those who wish to discuss further and deeper philosophical, political and similar topics. Eye

Terrific ;-) I love the baby GNU for the GGL forum.

I like the idea very much. I haven't quite come caught up with everything yet, so the GLL planet is still late behind (last post was one month ago). However I just finished a major redesign and added the new link buttons, in the coming 2 weeks the planet should rise up from its ashes entirely.
Maybe a small block displaying only the topics (no content preview, so it does not intrude too much) could work nicely. Let's see what other members think of this.

Also, simply to mention, here's a slight display bug with wide resolutions -I sent you a screenshot.
I think you should correct the CSS for the absolute-positioned image:

current CSS wrote:
#subforum img {
  position: absolute;
  top: 200px;
  right: 210px;
}

try changing that pixel-based right: definition (never a good idea for accessibility) to 15% (which is the width of the right column, if I understand correctly) or so.

Cheers

Olivier.

Yep, that was the idea.

About the bug:

Thanks for sending me the shot. I changed it to right: 17% just to be slightly more on the left so it doesn't touch with the border.

I hope that fixes it on wide resolutions.

Cheers
