Suggestion: Acronyms

I agree, I miss that feature too although I don't need it.

I think there is a module for this on Drupal. Gonna check on that yet. If there is it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Acronyms feature has been implemented. Check this out: SPARC.

Besides a tooltip it also links to the glossary page.

It is even possible to have detailed explanations of various terms and acronyms on that page, but for now this should do.

The forums seem to be shaping up nicely

One glitch..
When you click on SPARC, it does take you to another page but nothing is displayed!
Also http://www.nuxified.org/glossary is an empty NXFD page..

It was a permissions issue. Fixed and tested.

A few more I found on the way... This is really a great feature.

IMO - In My Opinion (most generally, a few common internet slang acronyms
SVN - Subversion
GUI - Graphical User Interface (this one comes up often!=)
CLI - Command Line Interface (should never come up )
CMS - Content Management System
OS - Operating System
EULA - End-User License Agreement

I hate TLA.

IMO isn't nearly as common as IMHO. Excuse me if this is only true on USENET. and EULA - I dunno. do we have BSD for Berkeley Software Distribution ?

Added all except "OS" as I think most visitors should at least get that one. We don't want to oversaturate.

We have a whole forum for CLI.

Ah, and I came up another one, how about TLD (top-level domain)? Not sure this if this is obvious, it just wasn't to me to start with.

OP could also mean some other things. I think it's too general to add, but I added TLD and TLP.
