How about a mutral network calender for F(L)OSS events? Suchs as DebConf Linux.conf.au etc?
Something that gives you a link to the home site, and the dates.
It can be an rss feed. feeding the users with the latest event, and the next coming event.
Hmm?

I'll take a look at the calendar/events modules available for Drupal. Maybe they support RSS too in which case they'd probably be quite fit for this task. Smiling

It's a nice suggestion overall and not hard to implement. Members can submit new events to be recorded.

We had one in the early days of libervis, but the only thing it was actually used for was keeping track of birthdays of members.

It seems this year is the one in which libervis become more than a web entity, it will appear in real life events. Perhaps a calender block on the libervis homepage will make more sense now, especially if we can add comments to calendar items to keep track of who is going where.
