If you're in Amerika (that's a phat K) you're probably being burried with all the election BS and brainwashing. I personally wouldn't advise anyone to vote.. I don't support the demo-fascist system there, BUT.. if you must, aside from Chuck Baldwin (the Ron Paul's guy) here's another good one to write in:

Tux for President!

Oh yeah. Smiling

Last time in France, not

Last time in France, not voting almost led to Le Pen (extreme right-wing) winning the elections. Luckily, they have a two-round voting system.
I know it's almost impossible that a party other than the republicans or democrats wins in the USA (!=America), but still, not voting is a bad idea. Unless you want the democratic system to disappear...

"Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill

If you believe in

If you believe in government then vote Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party) or Bob Barr (Libertarian Party, though the guy has a bad track record and some non-libertarian positions), but I don't.

I do. I am convinced there is a better way.

And Churchil was right except in one thing, that we need to have a government at all. If you're stunned by that think about what government actually is. Hint: an organization like all other organizations except it has a monopoly on violence. I think nobody should have such a monopoly, it's as simple as that. Smiling

Edit: Btw, it's doubtful USA even has a real democracy. You might find it surprising to know that Richard Stallman believes Bush elections were rigged. Why not do the same next time? The situation is well fit for another rig as the race is tight again between Obama the socialist and McCain the fascist.

Vote for me!

I'm gonna be a great president.

My qualifications:

  • I know how to hold a book the right way.
  • I totally suck at strategy-games, thus I am unlikely to start/involve in a war.
  • I love BBQ!

Well, just coming back here

Well, just coming back here to say I'm happy today and hope things will indeed change for the better. Smiling

As I'm not in the USA, I haven't been "brainwashed" by the whole campaigning, but now I watched a few Obama videos and that last one after the results. All I can say is that Obama can really deliver good speeches. (Much much better than Bush speeches, that's for sure. ^^ )
I hope he'll be a great president too. Smiling

Yes he can. But so can

Yes he can. Laughing out loud

But so can many people... You preside over yourself, not Obama, is what I'm saying.

I'm personally not too hopeful, except that finally the boring suspense in USA is over and it's time for americans to face reality they've been avoiding, which is that no president can solve the current crisis, no matter how good speeches he can give and how "exciting" (and cheesy) fanfare he can organize.

But 'nuf talkin'. You'll see how well messiah can deliver now. Laughing out loud
